“I have seen my fair share of cases whereby mental and emotional stress shows itself through physical dysfunction in the body. My primary goal is to help restore optimal function by addressing the underlying cause of the problem. Mindful that an individual’s tolerance and need varies, I provide personal treatment plans based on your specific needs.”

John Reimer

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Fitness Education Classes

John is available at Body Smart Health:

Tue and Thur: 1 pm – 8 pm
Wed and Fri: 8 am – 3 pm

“I’m continuously amazed at how many people are not aware of the connections between one’s body and mind. We often take better care of our cars, than our bodies. As an educator, I feel compelled to explain how pain is not bad. It is something we need to respect and explore what it means to our body. By taking an all-encompassing holistic approach to health and wellness, I help my clients restore their body back to its optimal balance in body and mind. I’ve seen how people are disconnected and unaware of their body function. I want to help them connect again.”

His natural tendency to care and help others in attaining optimal health, along with his commitment as a competitive athlete looking to improve his performance, are two of the reasons why John is a registered massage therapist today.

To ensure he provides patients with the highest quality and standards of care, John is continually furthering his education to learn more massage techniques in the areas of osteopathic manual therapy, sport therapy, and rehabilitation. John has been in private practice since 1999 and has worked with the Massage Therapists Association of BC to develop and enhance the profession, as well as national, international, and community sporting groups and events.

A dedicated family man and husband, John finds his career as a RMT one of the most rewarding experiences in his life. He is honored to earn his client’s trust and to help them overcome physical limitations to improve their quality of life, work, and play.

Sam is available at Body Smart Health

My name is Samantha Wiese and I come to you all the way from Sydney Australia where my gym was the sun, sand and surf until I moved to Canada in 2004.  It was then that I really started to focus on my fitness and health.

I was a chubbier kid growing up and we all know that kids can be ruthless, so I never really had a great body image and the confidence as a teenager and growing up. I hired my own Personal Trainer in 2010 and did a TV show called The Last 10Lbs Bootcamp! This is what got me started and I wanted to inspire people just like me who thought that they could never transform their health and fitness. I jumped onto the BCRPA Personal Training Certifications and from there, my journey to motivate and help other with their own fitness and health journey’s began.

In 2017 I opened my own fitness studio and it was here that I learned the importance of mind, body and spirit in this life and fitness journey of ours! I now focus much of my training on this and take the “healthy mind, healthy body” approach to my training!

My bucket list always included a Figure Competition and I made it my mission to stand proud on a stage in a skimpy bikini and show off all of my hard work. It was the toughest thing mentally for me to push past what I thought were my “limits”! There are NO LIMITS to this journey and I thrive on working through this with my clients!
